Some love stories are extra special to photograph, and Parker and Chloe’s proposal and engagement session in WaterColor, Florida, will always hold a special place in my heart.
Not only did I have the honor of capturing a beautiful surprise proposal, but I was also photographing two of my best friends as they began one of the most exciting chapters of their lives together.
A Surprise Proposal on the Dock
Parker spent months planning the perfect proposal. He chose a beautiful dock in WaterColor, Florida, surrounded by calm water and stunning views, creating the perfect setting for such an important moment.
As Chloe walked down the dock, she had no idea what was about to happen. The moment Parker got down on one knee, everything seemed to stand still. The excitement, happy tears, laughter, and pure joy that followed were some of the most genuine emotions I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing.
There is something incredibly special about documenting a proposal. It’s one of the few moments in life that can never be recreated, and every reaction is completely authentic.
Exploring the Charm of WaterColor
After the proposal, we spent time exploring the beautiful streets and pathways throughout WaterColor. This coastal community offers some of the most picturesque locations along Florida’s Gulf Coast, making it the perfect backdrop for engagement photos.
With the excitement of the proposal still fresh, Parker and Chloe were completely wrapped up in each other. Their happiness was effortless to capture as we wandered through the town, stopping at some of my favorite locations along the way.
The natural chemistry between them made every photograph feel genuine and timeless.
Ending the Evening at the Beach
To finish the session, we headed to the beach just before sunset.
The soft coastal light, gentle waves, and beautiful Florida shoreline created the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, we captured some of my favorite images from the entire session.
The beach provided a romantic and relaxed atmosphere that perfectly reflected Parker and Chloe’s relationship. Between the stunning scenery and the joy they shared together, every moment felt magical.
A Session I’ll Never Forget
As a photographer, I am fortunate to witness some of life’s most meaningful moments. Being trusted to document a proposal is always an honor, but getting to capture this experience for two of my closest friends made it even more memorable.
