I had the opportunity to photograph Rachel & Hassan's wedding at Barrington Hill while second shooting alongside Jessica Ivette Photography, and this venue immediately stood out to me from a photographer's perspective. From their emotional first look to portraits around the property and an unforgettable reception that ended with fireworks, there were so many beautiful opportunities to document their day.
A Luxury Equestrian Wedding Venue in Dade City, Florida
Barrington Hill Weddings & Events is a private equestrian estate located in Dade City, Florida.
The property combines rustic Florida countryside with an elegant wedding atmosphere. Rolling green fields, hilltop views, beautiful landscaping, and pastures filled with horses create a setting that feels completely different from a traditional ballroom wedding venue.
As both a wedding photographer and someone with an equestrian background, venues like Barrington Hill are especially fun for me to photograph. I love when a property incorporates horses and natural scenery while still giving couples an elegant setting for their celebration.
Wedding Photography at Barrington Hill
One of the things that stood out to me while photographing at Barrington Hill was the variety the property provides.
A wedding gallery shouldn't feel like every photograph was taken in the same location, and a property with this much natural scenery gives us room to create variety throughout the day.
From candid moments and wedding-party photographs to romantic portraits of the newlyweds, the surrounding landscape gives us a beautiful backdrop while still keeping everything connected to the look and feel of the venue.
Rachel & Hassan's Barrington Hill Wedding
Rachel & Hassan's wedding was such a beautiful introduction to photographing Barrington Hill.
Their day began with one of my favorite moments — an emotional first look between the two of them before their ceremony.
Those quieter moments are some of my favorites to photograph because they give couples a chance to actually be together before the rest of the wedding day takes off.
Throughout their celebration, there were so many genuine moments between Rachel, Hassan, their families, and their friends.
And then came the perfect ending.
Fireworks.
Their reception ended with fireworks lighting up the night sky, creating an incredible finale to their Barrington Hill wedding and some unforgettable photographs to finish their gallery.

An Equestrian Setting That Stands Out
Barrington Hill is particularly unique because it isn't simply a wedding venue with a rustic aesthetic — it's a private equestrian estate.
The horse-filled pastures and rolling countryside are genuinely part of the property, giving it a character that would be difficult to recreate at a traditional event venue.
Having spent more than 15 years around horses myself, I especially appreciate photographing at equestrian venues. I understand how much horses can mean to the people who love them, and I love being able to combine that part of my background with wedding photography.
For couples who love horses, the countryside, or simply want a wedding venue that feels removed from the typical city setting, Barrington Hill offers something really special.
A Venue Designed Around Each Wedding
Another thing I love about Barrington Hill is that the property provides a beautiful foundation without requiring every wedding to look exactly the same.
The venue offers wedding planning, design, coordination, décor, and floral services, allowing the property to be transformed around each couple's individual vision.
From a photography perspective, that's exciting because the same venue can look and feel completely different depending on the couple, décor, florals, season, lighting, and overall atmosphere of the wedding.
