# Cypress Creek Farmhouse Wedding Photographer | Astatula, Florida Wedding Venue
If you're dreaming of a wedding venue that combines Florida's natural beauty with a rustic yet elegant atmosphere, Cypress Creek Farmhouse in Astatula, Florida is such a beautiful place to celebrate.
I've had the opportunity to photograph around five weddings at Cypress Creek Farmhouse while second shooting alongside Michelle Vila Photography, which means I've been able to experience this venue through different wedding days, lighting conditions, timelines, and celebrations. Every wedding has been unique, but one thing stays consistent — there are so many beautiful opportunities for photographs throughout the property.
A Rustic-Elegant Wedding Venue Near Orlando
Located in Astatula, Cypress Creek Farmhouse offers a peaceful countryside setting while still serving couples throughout the greater Orlando and Central Florida area.
The property features approximately 20 acres of landscaped grounds, outdoor ceremony spaces, water views, getting-ready suites, and an air-conditioned barn for receptions. It's a great combination for couples who love the look of an outdoor Florida wedding but still want a comfortable indoor space for dinner and dancing.
Getting Ready at Cypress Creek Farmhouse
One thing I really appreciate from a photography perspective is having dedicated getting-ready spaces right at the venue.
Cypress Creek Farmhouse has two large getting-ready suites, allowing both sides of the wedding party to prepare on the property. Having everyone in one location can make the beginning of a wedding day flow much more smoothly and gives us plenty of opportunities to photograph those quieter moments before the ceremony.
This is when I typically photograph details, getting into the dress, final touches, candid moments with the wedding party, and some of the anticipation leading up to the ceremony.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies
The natural setting is one of my favorite parts about photographing weddings at Cypress Creek Farmhouse.
The open landscape, trees, water, and surrounding greenery create a romantic backdrop without needing much added decoration. It also gives couples the beautiful outdoor ceremony experience that so many people picture when planning a Central Florida wedding.
And once the ceremony is over, we don't have to travel somewhere else for portraits — there are plenty of locations around the property to work with.
Wedding Portraits & Golden Hour
From a photographer's perspective, this is where Cypress Creek Farmhouse really shines.
Having photographed multiple weddings here, I've been able to explore different areas of the property and photograph them under different conditions throughout the day. The open skies and natural scenery can be especially beautiful as the sun gets lower.
Whenever the wedding timeline allows, I love sneaking my couples away for a few minutes around golden hour. It's often one of the only quiet moments they get together during the entire day, and the warm evening light paired with the countryside setting can create some gorgeous portraits.
The Cypress Creek Farmhouse Reception Space
After the ceremony and portraits, celebrations can continue inside the venue's air-conditioned barn.
The barn keeps the rustic character of the property while bringing in more elegant details, including exposed beams and crystal chandeliers. It's a beautiful setting for everything from the couple's grand entrance and first dance to speeches, cake cutting, and a packed dance floor later in the evening.
And in Florida, having an air-conditioned reception space is definitely something your guests can appreciate!
Photographing Weddings at Cypress Creek Farmhouse
One of my favorite things about returning to the same venue is getting to know it better every time.
After photographing around five weddings at Cypress Creek Farmhouse, I've become familiar with the flow of the property and the different photographic opportunities available throughout a wedding day. Knowing a venue ahead of time allows me to spend less time figuring out where to go and more time focusing on what's actually happening in front of me.
Whether it's finding beautiful light for portraits, knowing where we can step away for a few quiet newlywed photographs, or working efficiently when a wedding-day timeline gets tight, that familiarity can make a difference.
Every couple and every wedding is different, though, and that's part of what I love about photographing here. The goal isn't to recreate the same photographs every time — it's to use what I know about the venue to create images that feel like *your* wedding.
