Some proposals feel like they belong in a fairytale, and Mackenzie and Rob’s engagement at Epic Universe was exactly that.
As the sun began to set over the park, Rob led Mackenzie to one of the most breathtaking locations in Epic Universe—the Luna statue. Surrounded by the beauty and wonder of the park, he got down on one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever.
Thankfully, Mackenzie said yes.
A Sunset Proposal at the Luna Statue
The golden evening light created the perfect backdrop as Rob proposed in front of Luna, one of Epic Universe’s most iconic landmarks.
There was excitement, happy tears, and so much joy as Mackenzie realized what was happening. These once-in-a-lifetime moments are always an honor to photograph, and being able to document every second of their proposal made the evening even more special.
The combination of the stunning architecture, vibrant atmosphere, and sunset sky created a truly unforgettable setting for the beginning of their engagement journey.
Exploring the Dark Magic of Darkmoor
After celebrating their engagement, we made our way into Darkmoor for portraits.
The detailed gothic architecture, dramatic lighting, and immersive storytelling throughout the land provided a completely unique backdrop for engagement photos. Every corner offered incredible photo opportunities that felt cinematic and romantic all at once.
Darkmoor’s atmosphere created a striking contrast to the bright excitement of the proposal, giving Mackenzie and Rob a gallery filled with variety and personality.
Engagement Photos Inside Frankenstein Manor
One of the highlights of the evening was photographing inside Frankenstein Manor.
The intricate details, dramatic interiors, and legendary atmosphere created some of the most unique engagement portraits I’ve ever captured. The combination of romance and gothic storytelling made every image feel like a scene from a movie.
For couples who love immersive experiences, fantasy worlds, and cinematic imagery, there truly isn’t another location quite like it.
Finishing the Night at Helios Grand Hotel
To end the session, we headed to the stunning Helios Grand Hotel.
The elegant architecture and beautiful surroundings provided the perfect final chapter to the evening. After exploring the excitement and adventure of Epic Universe, Helios offered a sophisticated and romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented Mackenzie and Rob’s engagement story.
As the lights of the park began to glow in the distance, we captured the final portraits of the night—creating images that felt timeless, romantic, and uniquely theirs.
