A Timeless Black-Tie Wedding at Hunters Green Country Club | Jessica & Victor

There are some wedding days that feel effortlessly elegant from beginning to end, and Jessica and Victor’s July 3rd wedding at Hunters Green Country Club in Tampa was exactly that.

From the emotional moments shared with family before the ceremony to the elegant black-tie celebration that followed, their wedding day was filled with beautiful details, meaningful traditions, and the kind of genuine moments that make wedding photography so special.

Getting Ready with the People Who Matter Most

Before the ceremony, Jessica spent time getting ready surrounded by the people closest to her. One of my favorite moments was seeing her daughters help button her into her wedding dress. It was such a sweet, intimate moment between mother and daughters and a beautiful reminder that a wedding day isn’t just about the couple — it’s about bringing together the people who have helped shape their lives.

Jessica also shared an emotional first look with her dad before walking down the aisle. There is something incredibly special about watching a father see his daughter as a bride for the first time, and this was one of those moments that deserved to be documented exactly as it happened.

The emotion continued when Jessica’s sister sang before the ceremony. Having family members contribute something so personal to a wedding day makes the celebration feel even more meaningful.

A Classic Black-Tie Wedding

Jessica and Victor’s wedding was the definition of classic elegance. Their black-tie celebration brought a timeless, sophisticated feel to the day, with every detail coming together beautifully at Hunters Green Country Club.

As the ceremony approached, we were keeping a close eye on the weather. Rain seemed like it might be on its way, but somehow the clouds held off at exactly the right time.

The timing couldn’t have been better.

Jessica and Victor were able to have their ceremony without the rain interrupting their celebration, making it even more special to watch them exchange their vows surrounded by their family and friends.

Beginning Their Marriage with a Jump Over the Broom

One of the most meaningful traditions incorporated into Jessica and Victor’s ceremony was jumping the broom.

At the end of their ceremony, Jessica and Victor jumped over the broom together, symbolizing the beginning of their new life and marriage together.

It was such a fun and meaningful moment to photograph — and one that added a beautiful personal touch to their wedding ceremony.

Bride & Groom Portraits in Tampa

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and headed to an incredible bridge for portraits of Jessica and Victor.

This part of the day was the perfect opportunity to slow down for a moment and let the newlyweds enjoy being together as husband and wife for the first time. Their elegant attire, the beautiful setting, and the excitement of finally being married all came together to create some of my favorite portraits from their wedding day.

There is something about photographing a couple immediately after their ceremony that I love. The nerves are gone, the anticipation is over, and they can simply enjoy each other.

Jessica and Victor made it incredibly easy to capture that feeling.

A Beautiful Beginning

Jessica and Victor’s July 3rd wedding was filled with everything that makes a wedding day memorable — family, tradition, emotion, elegance, and plenty of beautiful moments in between.

From Jessica’s daughters helping her into her dress, to her first look with her dad, her sister singing before the ceremony, jumping the broom, and portraits on the bridge after saying “I do,” their wedding day was uniquely theirs.

It was an honor to capture these memories while shooting for Cherished Memories Studio, and I am so grateful to have been part of such a beautiful celebration.

Congratulations, Jessica and Victor! 🤍
