Some weddings are extra special—not just because of how beautiful they are, but because of the personal connections behind them. Maggie and Eric Sturniolo’s wedding is one of those for me.
Maggie and I were actually roommates for over a year before either of us got married, which made being part of her wedding day feel incredibly meaningful. Our friendship started through her sister, Theresa, when we were riding horses together, and from there, it grew into such a special season of life that I’ll always cherish.
**A Love Built on Dedication and Joy**
Maggie, a registered nurse, and Eric, a train conductor, are both so hardworking and grounded, yet together they bring such a fun, lighthearted energy. Their relationship is full of balance, love, and laughter—something that was so evident throughout their entire wedding day.
**A Beautiful Ceremony**
They were married at Holy Family Catholic Church in Marietta, Georgia, and it was absolutely stunning. The ceremony was filled with reverence, beauty, and so much love from the friends and family who came to support them.
You could truly feel the significance of the moment as they stood together, beginning this new chapter of their lives.
**Golden Hour Magic**
One of my favorite parts of the day was stepping outside during sunset for portraits. The church grounds featured a large, beautiful cross that created the most perfect backdrop.
As the sun dipped lower, we captured some truly special moments—soft light, quiet joy, and the kind of images that feel timeless. It was one of those parts of the day where everything just comes together effortlessly.
**A Reception to Remember**
If the ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, the reception was the complete opposite in the best way—it was a full-on celebration.
From the moment it started, the energy in the room was incredible. Maggie and Eric’s friends and family came ready to celebrate, and the dance floor stayed packed all night long. It was the kind of party you never want to end.
**More Than Just a Wedding**
Maggie and Eric’s wedding meant so much to me—not just as a photographer, but as a friend. Being there to capture such an important day in her life, after sharing so many memories together leading up to it, was something I’ll always be grateful for.
Maggie and Eric, thank you for letting me be part of your day in such a special way. Your wedding was beautiful, joyful, and full of love—and a memory I’ll always hold close.
